Stacy's lifelong passion for gymnastics has shaped a remarkable career. As a competitive gymnast in her youth, she developed a deep understanding and love for the sport. In her early 20s, she utilized her skills and knowledge to train competitive gymnasts, focusing on fostering discipline, technique, and confidence. Later, she shifted her focus to working with toddlers, nurturing early developmental skills and encouraging a love for movement in young children. Today, Stacy combines her expertise in gymnastics with dance, coaching competitive dancers to incorporate gymnastic elements into their routines, enhancing their performances with creativity and athleticism. In addition to her coaching roles, she runs a summer camp on Boston's North Shore, continuing to share her love for movement, discipline, and fun with the next generation.
Tumble Bugs came to life when one of Stacy's students suggested that she should turn her passion into a business. The flood of requests for private lessons made her realize that this little girl was onto something big. It was the student's confidence in both her and her coaching that inspired Stacy to pursue a dream that had begun in high school. Stacy is immensely grateful for that insightful and motivating conversation they had, and she will always treasure the encouragement that came from that young student's words.
